Our company looks back on more than 118 years of success.
With a pioneering spirit the painter Jacob Rickart constructed our original company building in 1894 at Kaiserstrasse 44 in Landstuhl. Over four decades he worked hard to establish the operation as a reputable company in the region.
In 1936, he transferred ownership to his son master painter Johann Valentin Rickart. After his death in 1961, his widow, Anna Rickart, and his sons Werner Rickart (master painter) and Dieter Rickart continued operations in sole proprietorship.
In 1999, the industrial manager Birgit Jörg and the master painter and decorator Michael Sturm took over the family business, now in the fifth generation. They modernised the company completely to unite the traditional painter’s trade with the latest techniques and innovative refurbishing technologies.
